You know the feeling of taking a picture and it doesn’t capture the essence of the reality you are truly seeing? That’s how I feel using the term magical to describe a SUNRISE ELOPEMENT.
When planning our wedding it was important to me to have such a sacred promise + a sacred moment that was captured in front of our closest friends + family that molded, supported and poured love into us and our relationship. Talk about magical. I was overwhelmed in what felt like magic.
A core memory was made this day.
We made our promises at the top of a cliff. From darkness to light.
A promise that we could hear but was whispers to the trees and nature around us, while watching the beauty that is often missed in the darkness brought to light right before our eyes.

As I look at photos from that day I am still in awe of the beauty that surrounded us. The only thing that mattered was the promises that were being made to one another.
Standing on that cliff while the sun was rising truly felt like the universe itself was celebrating us, while illuminating the promises made and welcoming us on the new chapter together as one.
